Bareilly: The IVRI Officers Ladies Club organised a vibrant Teej celebration with great enthusiasm and festive spirit, bringing together club members for an evening of music, dance, games and cultural performances. The programme was presided over by club vice-president Dr Manisha Singh.
The celebrations began with a captivating Ganesh Vandana presented by Sanyukta and Anvesha. This was followed by a series of lively dance performances by Dolly, Goldie, Archana, Moumita, Vidya Singh, Swati, Neha, Rekha, Neetu, Ankita and Malini to popular melodious songs.

Payal and Shweta kept the gathering engaged with their lively and humorous anchoring, while Sarita, Anuradha and Rashmi organised a series of entertaining games that added laughter and excitement to the celebration.
A special attraction of the evening was a humorous skit presented by Sunita Dutt, Geeta Singh and Manisha Singh. The performance entertained the audience and received enthusiastic applause.
Following various competitions and activities, Deboshree Vardhan was unanimously selected as the “Teej Queen.” Club members also performed traditional Kajri songs, keeping alive the cultural traditions and significance associated with the festival of Teej.

Renuka, Deepa, Kajla, Himani, Yashoda, Dr Taru, Sushma and several other club members attended the celebration. Members participated enthusiastically and enjoyed the festivities.
At the conclusion of the programme, club secretary Shweta Singh expressed her gratitude to all guests and members for their participation and support. Treasurer Anuradha Singh and the joint secretary also played an important role in organising and managing the event.
The celebration beautifully reflected the traditions, cultural heritage, camaraderie and spirit of women’s unity associated with Teej, making it a memorable evening for the club members.
